In Toad Hall, audience members are cordially invited to a fantastical dinner party with a family of larger than life toads! Featuring SUNY Potsdam student artists, the play celebrates community through audience interaction and participation, music, and moments of multi-sensory exploration!

All performances begin at 2:00pm. Pre-show activities begin at 1:45pm.

Toad Hall is best enjoyed by children ages 2-6 and their families. Performances are approximately 45 minutes and free to attend! Floor seating is first come first served. Chairs are available, and the space is wheelchair accessible.
Masks are strongly recommended for audience members over the age of 2 years.

Toad Hall is being presented as a part of SUNY Potsdam's LoKo Arts Festival.

Play Development in Potsdam!

Kerfuffle develops all of their work in direct partnership with children to better understand what engages, interests and delights them. Children of Potsdam, New York and the surrounding communities are invited to participate in free creative drama workshops to help Kerfuffle create Toad Hall. Join the toads for the following workshops:

Workshop Description: Workshop participants will help form ideas, characters and the design for the play through creative drama activities, songs and art projects. Children will design their own dinner plate for the Toad Family party and are invited to attend one or both workshops. SUNY Potsdam student artists will share parts of the play with workshop participants at the April 2 workshop.

Workshop Description: Workshop participants will help form ideas, characters and sound design for the environment of the play through creative drama activities and songs. Children will use their bodies, voices and simple musical instruments to explore the soundscape of the Toad Family dinner party. Participants may attend one or both workshops. SUNY Potsdam student artists will share parts of the play with workshop participants at the April 10 workshop.
